The Johor branch campus in Segamat began operations on 18 May 1998. Located at the south of Segamat, the College is approximately 10-15 minutes’ drive from town. The 50-acre campus, surrounded by scenic greenery of oil palm plantation offers efficient facilities for the students. The academic and recreational facilities are as follows:
Accommodation is available at the housing areas in Segamat town. Shop houses, supermarkets, restaurants and hawker centres in the vicinity offer unlimited choices of shopping and eating out. College buses provide transportation service on an hourly basis to the campus. In addition, the cost of living in Segamat is relatively low, thus the cost of living is more affordable for students. Segamat, strategically located between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, is a fast-developing district which is agriculturally (oil palm and rubber based). Segamat town is a typical mid-sized town with a fusion of old and new culture. Students can spend their weekends hiking and swimming at famous ‘Gunung Ledang’ and ‘Air Panas’ Waterfall, which is only 45 minutes’ drive from the town. Also, one should never miss the well-known Segamat durians during the durians seasons.
